湖南湘钢金属材料科技有限公司（简称湘钢金属）前身为原湖南湘钢钢丝绳有限公司和湖南湘辉金属制品有限公司，始建于1958年，地处湘潭市中心高新区，注册资本叁亿元，国家高新技术企业，是湘潭钢铁集团有限公司下属全资子公司，两公司合并后，于2018年12月注册成为湖南湘钢金属材料科技有限公司（简称湘钢金属）。
公司经过60多年的发展，在钢丝绳、PC钢绞线、钢丝等主要产品的生产方面积累了丰富的经验，拥有年产30万吨以上的生产能力，是国内大型金属制品基地之一。
公司拥有国内先进的整体工艺技术装备，主要成套设备均来自国外进口或国内知名品牌，拥有电梯钢丝绳和高性能钢丝绳、PC钢绞线、高性能钢丝等三个专业化生产基地，钢丝绳产品广泛应用于矿山、冶金、工程机械、电梯、港口、海洋捕捞、石油、船舶、桥梁、旅游、军工等众多行业，PC钢绞线产品广泛应用于高速公路、高速铁路、矿山及各类电站等众多重点工程领域。形成了三角股、压实股、多丝复合线接触、多层股不旋转等特种钢丝绳、PC钢绞线、镀锌钢绞线以及各类弹簧钢丝等拳头产品，产品规格系列齐，综合配套服务能力强。

Hunan Xianggang metal Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Xianggang metal), formerly known as Hunan Xianggang Wire Rope Co., Ltd. and Hunan Xianghui metal Products Co., Ltd., was founded in 1958. It is located in the central high-tech zone of Xiangtan City, with a registered capital of 300 million yuan. It is a national high-tech enterprise and a wholly-owned subsidiary of Xiangtan Iron and Steel Group Co., Ltd. After the merger of the two companies, it was registered as Hunan Xianggang metal Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as Xianggang metal) in December 2018.
After more than 60 years of development, the company has accumulated rich experience in the production of main products such as steel wire ropes, PC steel strands, and steel wires. It has an annual production capacity of over 300000 tons and is one of the large metal product bases in China.
The company has advanced overall process technology equipment in China, and the main complete sets of equipment are imported from foreign countries or well-known domestic brands.
